U.S. Business Reporter is developing a powerful database that focuses on brand shares of companies. We currently have limited brand share information in the market share database. However, we are in the process of making the databases separate. This database will be similar to the market share database and will feature percentages of different brands within a product or market group. There are two types of brand share data elements that will be provided depending on the type of subscription. The basic brand share data will feature product brand names and companies along with their percentage of the market. The premium brand share data will feature much greater detail of a specific market and brand share group. This includes dollar value of each brand, percentage changes in dollars, unit volume, and changes in unit volume. This is provided to institutional subscribers with a corporate , academic, and public library subscription access levels. We hope to have the brand share database fully developed by early 2008.
